~ INAUGURAL DECANTER ~
Date of Release
~1984~
"In 1907, Jack Daniel traveled
to hear President Theodore Roosevelt speak. Mr Jack was so taken with Roosevelt's speech that when he returned to Lynchburg
he drew up plans to make a special decanter to send to Roosevelt's next inauguration. Unfortunately for Mr. Jack, Roosevelt
chose not to run again in 1908, and plans for the decanter were scrapped. That is until 1994, the 80th anniversary of
Roosevelt's first formal inauguration when this 1.75-liter decanter was released. A 1.5-liter version was also produced
for international markets."
